Jack Black, born Thomas Jacob Black on August 28, 1969, is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, singer, musician, songwriter, and YouTube personality. Jack is the lead vocalist of the Grammy Award-winning comedic rock duo Tenacious D, which he formed in 1994 with Kyle Gass. He’s known for his roles in films such as High Fidelity (2000), Shallow Hal (2001), School of Rock (2003), King Kong (2005), Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny (2006), The Holiday (2006), the Kung Fu Panda franchise (2008–2016), Tropic Thunder (2008), Gulliver’s Travels (2010), Bernie (2011), Goosebumps (2015), Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) and its sequel, Jumanji: The Next Level (2019). Jack earned Golden Globe nominations for his work in School of Rock and Bernie. In 2018, he was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In December 2018, he launched his YouTube channel, Jablinski Games, which has 4.5 million subscribers. Jack married his high school sweetheart, Tanya Haden in 2006 in California. They have two sons together, Samuel Jason (born in 2006) and Thomas David (born in 2008).
