On the TLC reality show Cake Boss, Remy Gonzalez is one of the stars behind impressive dessert creations.
But there’s nothing remotely impressive about the charges filed against this famous chef: he’s been arrested for sexual assault against a minor.
Authorities confirm that Gonzalez has been sitting in a jail in Morris County, New Jersey since August 18, as bail is set at $300,000. TMZ reports the reality star is charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, criminal sexual contact, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Gonzalez is married to the the sister of the Cake Boss himself, Buddy Valastro, prompting a rep for TLC to say: “We support Buddy and the Valastro family during this very difficult and challenging time… and as this doesn’t involve us, we will not be commenting any further.”
